Professional Registration

Like many counsellors, I am listed on the BACP Register for Counsellors and Psychotherapists  (BACP Register) which is a pre-requisite for practicing members of the BACP(British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)).This means that you can be confident that I hold appropriate professional qualifications, have monthly supervision, commit to regular professional development, abide by the BACP code of ethics and am insured.

Many counsellors and employers see Accreditation with the BACP as an important next step to recognise the achievement of high standards of knowledge, experience and development in counselling and psychotherapy. I was awarded Accreditation with the BACP in 2008.

I was granted my Certificate of  UKRCP Registered Independent Counsellor (United Kingdom Register of Counsellors and Psychotherapists) in 2009.

BACP Senior Accreditation is available for the most experienced practitioners recognising accomplishment and professional development and I was awarded this in 2013.
